This is a Magazine program tied to Fredricks of Hollywood Lingere. I cancelled an offer with Fredricks of Hollywoods' Affiliate Duets. They asked me if I wanted magazine subscriptions. I said NO as I am a merchandiser for a News co. That will give me free magazines at our warehouse so I would have no use for them!
That was a few months ago. 5/17/06 I was charged $19.00 on my debit card for a House and Gardens subsription - that was never authorized. There were 2 other magazines attached that I would be billed for also: Budget Living and Martha Stewarts Living (if I did not cancel those subscriptions also).
So I am suppose to cancel subscriptions I vehemently said I did not want, waste my phone minutes at peak hours - then get more offers (worded in trick questions) to try and get me to authorize more subscriptions and to buy other services.
Last time I heard stealing someone else's debit and credit cards was identity theft and fraud. I am infuriated that they steal from me and I could end up overdrawn and short money for paying my bills.
