I purchased a used mobile home from this company for my son and paid cash and like the other reports filed they kissed my but until they received my cash. Then they started avoiding my calls. The secretary would not let me talk to the salesman. I had to miss a days work and go on a 2 hour long drive to see him personally. When I purchased the mobile home the salesman told me repeatedly that it came with a heat pump, we will do all the necessary repairs to the mobile home, he even told me the name of the carpenter that would be doing the repairs. I asked him four times about the heat pump and he repeatedly answered yes it comes with a heat pump or otherwise I wouldn't have purchased the mobile home if it didn't come with the heat pump so to make matters worse it took 3 weeks for delivery and when delivered I asked them you don't do this much do you and they answered yes we deliver a lot and I told him you sure couldn't tell it by this one. I had a flat piece of land for them to sit on and all I asked was to put it back against the hillside and they couldn't do that they just pulled it in there and left it in the middle of the bottom. I had to hire more people to help me sit it back against the hill at my own expense. Then I kept calling each week to see when they were going to do the repair and bring the heat pump. They finally told my daughter in law that my salesman didn't work there anymore so since my verbal agreement was with him that put us in a spot. I have called numerous times and finally got to speak to Mr. Campbell, who is the rudest man I have dealt with, and told me there was no heat pump that comes with this mobile home and that I was not getting a heat pump and when I told him I was going to contact my lawyer he told me I could contact the Pope but I wasn't getting a heat pump. Mr. Berry our salesman read the agreement over to my son and daughter in law and told them that they would be getting a heat pump but it didn't come with a warranty did they understand that it wouldn't have a warranty with it and that it was unfurnished and they agreed and signed the contract. Now we are left hanging with repairs no heat pump like we were promised probably another days of work missed for me to file a complaint and go in front of a judge. Please help us. I work at the school, my husband is a coal miner, and my son is going to college and my daughter in law babysits and goes to college. We are just poor folks who got taken advantage of and I am sick and tired of seeing this happen is there anything that I can do to stop this from happening to anyone else.
