OralBright Revenue Work
Ripoff - frudulant buiness practices and charging of credit card

Like other who have filed reports, I do have been ripped off by the fraudulant and deceptive business practices of OralBright, also doing business under the name Revenue Work. I responded to an email solicitation for a free sample (pay only postage of $4.97), which was charged to my credit card. I received the sample and then want on an extended overseas vacation. When I returned I found three more boxes of the product in my accumulated mail and checked my credit card statement to discover they had charged my credit card three times for $49.95. I never authorized additional shipments of the product. There was no statement in the box with the product on how to contact the company to stop or return additonal shipments.

I called my credit card company to report the problem and they gave me a phone for OraBright. On April 12 I called the number and discovered it had been disconnected and changed to another number 888-298-1381. I called that number and spoke to "Ray". He was unable to help me and when I asked to speak to a supervisor, he said he couldn't do it and that someone would call me back. I also asked him for the name of the president of the company and he said he didn't have that information. I also send OralBright a message using their webform on the Internet. No one called back and I never received an email response either. On April 14, I called the OralBright number and spoke with a women.in both cases it sounded if the people answering the phone were no employees of the company, but were part of a big outsourced customer service (really dis-service) company overseas. I told this women that I had never been called back and she claimed that I was called, but wasn't home. I explained to her that I have an answering machine on my phone and there were no messages from anyone from OralBright. She also refused to connect me with a supervisor.

I called the American Fork, Utah, police department and explained the fraudulent practices of the company in their jurisdiction. They referred me to the Better Business Bureau of Utah (800-456-3907) and to the Utah Consumer Protection lawyer who can be reached at 801-273-3941. I filled an offical complaint with the Utah BBB and am waiting for a call back from the lawyer from the Comsumer Protection Office of Utah.

I called my bank back to report the above actions and had them dispute the three payments of $49.95. They also advised me to close out my credit card and report it as compromised. I did this to prevent any further charges by OralBright.

I strongly urge anyone else that that been ripped off by OralBright to:

1. File a complaint with the Utah Better Business Bureau (see number above).

2. Contact the Utah Consumer Protection Office at the number mentioned above.

3. Close out the credit card that OralBright is using to charge you and get a replacement card.
