Perpertual Marketing - Cobra
Cult, sham, rip off Belfast North Ireland

I was sent this website by a fellow ex perpetual marketer and cobra ite and realised oh mi god my brother was definitely right; it is a cult!

Let's just rewind here. I worked in Perpetual Marketing - fresh out of university, not expecting to get any proper work, but lo and behold, came across a website for perpetual, not expecting to hear anything and shocked when i got a first, then a second interview, and then got the job. I thought I was the sh*! It was great meeting friends from uni and telling them "I work in marketing".

After my first pre-man I was like rite, I'm gonna run my own company ; this is great. Having been already warned about parents trying to neg you out, I told my family about it all. My own company - retirement by the time I was 35 - perfect. My brother immediately (in the words of the cobra religion) negged me out - "its part of a cult". Of course I thought he needed to wise up and we'd see who was laughing when I was earning 100 grand a year next year.

My sales were grand and I had a laugh with my friends in work. We went to Rising Stars - ie. An excuse to make sure that no-one gets negged out and we can make money for them - in our heads - a free flight to London, and a general laugh.

After a while door to door on your own gets so boring - so double dooring it was! Crap sales, but great craic! It was the only thing that could keep you happy in the job - leaving the field early, getting a chinese and having a general laff!!! Chain smoking because it meant you didn't have to deal with people telling you to fvck off!"each time someone says no, it brings you closer to a yes" - BS!!!

David's sector leaders cherry picked territory which meant they always rang the bell. I started to see through everything after a few months there, realised how much of a clique it really is - you're only talked to by crew leaders etc if you are high rolling - you get your sales dropped to 16 because you are sick. Obviously you're going to be sick trekking around in the pouring rain in the winter for 7 hours a day.

If you are going to apply for a job in Perpetual Marketing, don't! As far as I can remember that add says 250 - 500 per week by which it means 250 - 500 before bond, after bond it is 192.50 - 385 weekly. Remember there's still all your travel expenses to take out of that! Sound good?

Don't be fooled. You still have expenses to pay for: getting to work, food, getting to the field, a taxi home from work because most nights the buses have stopped by the time you get out of the office (after 11pm). So take out at least 100 for expenses weekly. A job as a waiter or bar man gets you more money than that plus you get tips, and you also get to see your friends and family for more than a couple of hours a week!!!

Juice by perpetual? It's a scam and it will brainwash you!!! Its not an opportunity - it only would be for 1 in 150.

All I can say is Esler you better give me back all of my bond. I won't be taking "cancellations" for an excuse!!!
