As you can see the date the account was opened was 12 and the date of last payment was 04. The date of last activity is 04 (I suppose this means the card activity or rather I hope, if not then the last payment was on 4. That is an activity after the reported last activity.
Ok now let's go to the 81 month payment history. It shows I've been paying until December from December. And how come the last payment received date is 4. Bottomline is this account was charged off and closed a long time ago. Due to unusual circumstances I was unable to pay it on or before 04 and it was closed by credit grantor (that is AMEX).
Now I'm trying hard to build my credit and this account resurfaces and my credit report shows the date reported is 02, just in time when it's about to fall off my credit report. This is ridiculous. Even the three major credit reporting agencies do not check on these type of things, the dates and so on and so forth. I have had no help from the agencies at all. The things that these big corporations report on our credit should also be regulated and checked for authenticity. But of course these credit reporting agencies are fed by these behemoth of corporations and have no sympathy or duty towards us consumers.
