I signed up for "free" unlimited music downloads on a site called freemusic2downloads on Feb. 25. The only "fee" was to be a one-time $9.95 membership fee. I did note the the following during the registration process. "During the registration process you will be offered a membership to HealthyDiscountCard.com. Please read the terms and conditions very carefully"
Both my husband and myself did so and could find no offer in the terms or elsewhere in the registration process re: offer for the discount card. Later my husband attempted a download and the site never worked.
Monday night I happened to check my Visa card charges and found 3 unknown charges $59.95, $99.95, and $99.95 since Feb. 25. I was unable to find a charge for $9.95 for the initial music download membership we had initially signed up for.
I called the credit card company and had them stop payment and send me a merchant dispute for which I am waiting for now to complete. We also found a Trojan virus on our security program.
