I got a phone call from a man named "Kevin Diaz" from the National Grant Services. "Mr. Diaz" told me that I was qualified for grants a sum of $8,000. Of course I was shocked and for me that was a lot of money to pay my school tuition and other things. It was an offer not to pass
He told me that all I need to do was pay the transaction fee of $299.95. So he asked for the account number, route number, and other questions that was supposed to be required to get the grant and I was stupid enough to give it to them and kept listening.
He later then explained that no later than 30 days I will recieve a package of ducumentation of the grant. After more than a month I called them and talked to a guy named "Pete". I told him that it was more than a month already and I still haven't recieved the package. He said that he I would recieve it by the following week. So I waited and no package.
By this time I was staring to get really angry because I kept calling and again and this time there was no answer but the answering machine. I have left many messages and still no call back.
I just found out today about this consumer complaints and I was reading I realized that I am one the NGS victim of scam. I hope that someone can do something about this because they are giving poeple's hope and stealing people's money and they deserve any punishment that they get.
