Hello, My Name is Jennifer Gray and this might sound rude but I am sort of glad that I am not the only one who fell for this scam. Two days ago I got a phone call early in the morning from a man named Jhon who said that I had been chosen to recieve 12,500.00 in free grant money because I was a U.S. Tax payer. I was very excited because I had recently applied for government grants to go to college and assumed that I had finally gotten threw. He also said that I had qualified for free long distance for a month. I asked him what company he was from and he said he was from the US Government Grant Program. He then told me that I would be transfered to a confirmation of some sort. It was just a recorded message asking me for my phone number and address witch I gave them but then it asked me for my account information and I didnt reply. I dont like to give my information to humans let alone a machine. Then it prompted me to a supposed supervisor who went threw the same questions as the recording. When he got to the account info part I asked him what he needed it for. He said that they needed to direct deposit the money in two days and debit a bank prosesing fee from the grant money itself. I told him that I would have to give him a call back when I had checked out his company. He gave me a number to call along with a number for EZ 1 rate to set up my free long distance. When I called the number given for U.S. Government Grant Department it was disconnected. So I called EZ 1 rate witch told me to keep trying because they were having trouble with ther phone lines. I had a feeling this was not true so I went online and this website popped up instantly. I put it out of my mind because they did not have my account info until this morning when my account was debited for 59.99. I dont understand how they can do this but they are!
