I had a phone call on January 23. From a man who called himself Michael Thompson. He sounded like he is from India.
My daughter answered it. I took it cause she said he asked for me by name. I would of never answered it, because the number showed up on my phone as 00
.
In talking to Michael and not being able to understand half of what he was saying.
I stupidly I gave out my full name to the thing that was recording everything, voice, address, checking account information. I even remarked that, that was like giving out my ssn. But he acted like he didn't hear me.
I tried calling the number this Michael Thompson gave me, but with no success in getting through. I tried to go to the ez1 rate web site, first I got it, It was a long distance company. I tried again and got this I got Hacked: Ez-1-Rate Scam? I printed what this person said about what happened to his wife on Christmas Eve 05. (It was the same thing that happened to me.)
So I called my banks 1 800 number, she asked if I wanted to close the account, I wasn't sure at the time, because I still had checks out. So the next morning I went to my Bank, took the print out of the scam, closed the account opened a new one.
I ended up chasing one check, paying the amount of the check plus $20. More for their return policy. Only to find out it cleared my account.
So I had to go back get the money from the retailer. Plus show him the statement the bank gave me to show him it cleared.
Also got charged $30. For INSF. Luckily my bank reversed the charges.
On the 25th of Jan. The manager of my bank called and wanted me to give her my social, but she understood if I didn't want to over the phone, So I told her I would come in since I was out and about already.
She looked at my Drivers lic to verify I was who I was, took a copy of my ssn., Cause a red flag went up on my old account. 2 people tried to access it using my ssn.
So she gave me an information packet on how to proceed with Identy Theft. I had alot of calling to do. Credit places, etc.
It says to make a police report too. I did. Took them 2 days to get back to me, telling me I had to call the Sherriff's dept. Because the Police is City, Sherriff is County.
It's the only thing I haven't done yet. I have been going non stop since this happened.
On the 15th of this month Ez1Rate mailed me a long distance packet stating I had 10 days of free long distance, with my account number 98037 for ez1rate, registered to my cell phone number. I don't need this service.
I already have long distance on my cell. So tomorrow, I have to call customer service @ 1800-923-8939 during normal business hrs. For ez1rate to cancel or I will be billed a one time set up fee for $19.95 and $49.95 plus tax monthly to my account, but if I cancel before the 10 day trial is up (3/2/06 I won't be charged.
Well today 2/22/06 I received the other portion of the deal from Advantage America Benefits. A welcome letter to National Choice Benefits It has $1000, grocery savers coupons @ grocery savers.com
Also in 3 to 4 weeks from the time I signed up, I'll receive a package. It'll include information on National Choice Health care Plan. A discount plan for health care and services for the entire family.
In addition to H.C.P. Package I'll receive a Government Grant Information Guide.
After completing the questionnaire, send it backto the Law firm provided.
I then will receive a completed application for my signature. After signing and sending it back to theappointed agency, I'll receive up to $12,500 within 7 months.
Or they will refund 100% of my program fees. You do understand.

I tried to go to this address, all I got was can't find the above address. Check spelling.
After a 7- day review unless I decide to cancel, I'll be billed $299.95 plus $14.95 s&h to my account on file.
After which I'll receive my package, so I can immediately get started on receiving my government grants and health care benefits.
Remember to look for my package in the mail from National Choice. We want you to start getting the grants you deserve. Your package should arrive in 3-4 wks.

I don't know how they can charge my account if it no longer exists. I think the bank is waiting for them to try to charge my old account, to hopefully catch them.
But these people are smart they probably know about this website.
Hopefully these people get caught. Trying to accesss my old account. And that I get the last laugh on them.
There is at least 4 different address for this National Choice.
Hopefully some body from you website can help bring this company down. Media, Lawyers etc.
