Sold one death trap, then sold us another as replacement ripoff Whitemarsh MARYLAND

I will probably get in a world of trouble from my husband for doing this. But as the nagging wife, and for the safety of others I ask you to heed my warning.in Mid Dec we purchased a little cheap Chevy Blazer. We chose Carmax as they advertise EVERYWHERE about their 125 point inspection and 100% complete satisfaction. (Go on their website I'm not lying) Anyway, my husband and I smelt antifreeze on the test drive (him being mechanically minded recognized that it must be the heater core) and we both assumed it had been replaced as part of the 125 inspection and the glaring Maryland Inspection pass paper still stook to the windshield.

The Sales associate as pleasant as he was must not have much of a sense of smell as he flat out stated "he didn't smell anything, and that when they sit for a while cars burn off any built up oil drips" - duh! And if he doesn't know the difference in smells between burnt oil and antifreeze he belongs in MacDonalds. Anyway sure as the grass is green we ended up having to take the Blazer back to the shop, where GUESS WHAT the heater core needed replacing upon looking closer they discovered a whole plethora of other things that needed to be done 125 inspection huh? What do they inspect? The interior?

SO we are put in a *Loaner* and decide upon a Jeep, Husband and I are well versed in Jeeps. We take the loaner back (obviously I'm sorry) So we take our Jeep we are very happy, until I get the call the the trannie seal has blown! OK now I'm mad. This is where the customer service turns into customer condescension from MANAGERS, questions such as "why do you buy such cheap cars? And what do you expect?"

All I can say is I SO glad I was not there as I would have made a fool out of everyone around me. I do not take too kindly to being talked down too when we are giving you our well earned money! Oh and by the way Mr. I ask insulting questions to my customers about the cars I sell. We both drive BMW's the cheaper car is for his daily commute, he drives all over gods green creation. One thing I will mention is that THEY try and SHOVE the warranty down your throat. We would have bought the warranty but it SERIOUSLY would have expired within a year. He tryly drives that much.

Here's the kicker today alone he has had to interupt his busy day as he could not drive any further. Not out of fatigue. But because the FIRST loaner the gas pedal kept sticking to ground, so Carmax in Laurel exchange it for another car, half way through the day he has to take THIS car back because the U joint is about to snap! These were both LOANERS, taken off the lot, meaning they are ready to SELL these cars.
Also here in MD, maybe with other States a Police Officer can challenge your pass inspection certification, if it doesn't satisfy them, they can take your license!

Carmax has been fair in putting my husband in his now third loaner car of the DAY, but in actuality he is still in his warranty!

Please people if you are NOT mechanically minded, bring someone with you who is. Carmax has very poor quality control, I think it is just because they cannot hire enough employees or keep up to date with the constant flow of new cars in and old cars out.

To ANYONE who has sold their car to carmax, did they inspect it before they GAVE YOU money? Just curious.
