I Just got my credit report friday. I had a 379 amount owed to First Premier Bank credit card! I contacted First Premier Bank they had no information to give me other than an old address, social, and my name but no proof of debt!
First Premier Bank gave me a number for 6 different credit agencies that it bounced around from 2000 to now! Every collector had no information other then my name and that I owed the debt!
After 6 calls I got the most current collector on the phone. They told me the only proof of debt is they have my name, address, and last payment. Well the last payment was made on jan. 1st of 1980. Well I hate to break it to them, but I was 3 years old.
LOL they also said it was finally sent to collections in 11 years later. Well I asked what address they had it under and it was an address I never heard of. Well I told them I was going to investigate it and they got pissy and told me i had to pay. Well I explain to them I'm not paying anything until I have proof either way. Well that's the latest info. I'll contact the attorney generals office tomorrow!
