I got a phone call this evening from Natalia Francis, ID #530, indicating I was eligible for a grant from $5000-12,000. I was reluctant at first to listen, but did. She convinced me to pay the one time processing fee of $29.95, and I (stupid me) gave my info.
During the "verification recording process" our call was disconnected. I had a sour gut feeling immediately. I called information and there was no listed number for First National Government Grants.
I obtained the Federal Information number and the Better Business Bureau number. After making a couple of phone calls, I decided to search the name of the company. I was shocked to see how many people had reported this company to the consumer complaints web site.
Thank you for the posted information. I am going to my bank after work tomorrow to get my money back and get a new account number.
Please do not fall for this scam. I may have not realized it if it weren't for this web site.
Sincerely,
Jennifer
