CRA consumer ripoff, sent 5 different sweepstakes letters, for different amounts, wanting $20 each

The Consolidated Research Authority aka CRA. Sent me 5 different letters inviting me to collect varying amounts of Millions of Dollars all for a fee of $20. I fell for that scheme the first time I received a letter from LVAAP. I thought I won some money.

Being of sound mind, an intelligent human being, I did what any red blooded American would do in monetary straights; I sent the Las Vegas Actionable Awards Program $20.00. I now receive 8 to 10 letters a day from varying entities such as the Awards Entitlement Pooling System (AEPS), National Bureau of Prize Information (NBPI, Prize Reach Out (PRO), Department of Investigative Research (DIR), United States of America Patriotism Awards (USAPA), Consolidated Research Authority (CRA), and the most aggregious and aggressive the Operations
Claim Agency (OCA).

I went to the Post Office today, 8/09, to pick up what I thought was a package from my daughter.instead, I received a Certified, Registered Letter telling me I had won an amount equal to $20,913, 400.08. I was agog. I couldn't wait to put my hands on that kind of money. I thought my ship came in, finally.

After a discussion witth my wife, who is of sound mind, body, and practicality said "who would give you $20 plus million dollars for nothing". She assumed, and rightly so, that I didn't enter into any sweepstakes event. Yet I would have paid $100 to get that money. Why would I do that?

I will tell you why! I, like many Americans have a lot of bills, debt, and car payments. I like many Americans would like to get out from under the weight of making ends meet. I am pretty bright; but, right now, I feel like the biggest idiot that walks the face of this earth. I am mad at myself for being greedy and wanting to take advantage of this situation. Let's face it that kind of money wouyld certainly do it.

That is the point of this letter. Would be ripoff artists know the dilemma that most Americans face. They know that some people work 2 and 3 jobs to make ends meet. They know the elderly need money in the later years of their lives. The ripoff is the unconcern for those who have not and the needy.

I felt compelled to write this and hopethat someone in their right mind contacts me and they can have every letter I have received for the last three weeks and that I will continue to receive. Some will be second and third requests, When I don't bite on those, new ones will come from other fictitious entities with promises of "riches beyond ones wildest dreams".

I was smart enough to stop at one $20 entry. I would not be surprised if there are people who have spent thousands trying to get this money. Let's make this real, since I am an accountant. If everybody in the US gave $20.00 to just one of these entities. You would have approximately 300,000, 000 million perople X $20 equalling $6,000, 000,000. That is an extreme; but, the point I think is well made. There would be no end to the number of entities trying to get your money.

They got me for $20. Realistically, if they got $20 from 1,000, 000 people in a year. They would make $20,000, 000 a year and might pay out one or 2 prizes equalling 5 to 10 million gross distributed and have profit margin of 50%.

Not a bad day at the office.in any event, I felt compelled to write this and affirm my stupidity and greed for the sake of my own principles and morals. It make me feel good that I can tell on myself and not make the same mistake twice. I will continue to collect all the documents I receive from whatever agency sends them in the hopes that someone will do something about this travesty, fraud, and utter disregard for the human condition
