First National Government Grant Benifits AKA www.firstnationalgrant.com AKA First National ripoff PERSUASIVE, PERSISTANT AND VERY PUSHY CALLED ME UP SAYING THAT I'VE BEEN SELCECTED TO RECEIVE A GRANT FROM THE Federal Goverment

I have recently been looking for Grants and Scholarships on line, so I can pay for school. For the last several weeks I have been recieving calls on my cell phone and when I answer, they just hang up. Tonight somone actually spoke. The business name they told me was First National Grant Benifits. They told me that I had been selected to receive a $12,500 grant from the federal government.

I listened to what they had to say, but when they asked me for my checking account number, I became very uneasy. I even went as far as to tell them that I would not supply my information over the telephone.

I asked them to mail me the information, and then I might supply that information for them. They were very pushy and very persuasive. They told me that I had to pay a one time fee of $29.95 for their services that would come out of the grant money right off the top and, I was to call them and donate $299.99 when the grant was deposited into my account.By this point, I had already given them my account information, so they could deposit into my account. No money was to be debited from my account. I had them make that very clear before I supplied my information to them. I wrote down the names and ID#s of all of the representatives I spoke to. As soon as I got off the phone, I tried to call one of the two 800 numbers they gave me. One was good, the other was made up. I called my Bank immediately after that. My account is now froze and I have to go close my account and open a new one tomorrow. I would rather be inconvienced than broke. They tried to take $299.99 from my account while I was on the phone with my bank. They're quick, I'll give them that. But they didn't get anything from me.
