Unfortuneately, I was scammed by First National government grants along with many others. 2 days ago I recieved a call from a man who spoke with an arabic accent. He claimed I was approved to recieve an 8,000.00 government grant. My husband and I have been searching for grants to help us with our adoption fees, so i wasnt taken aback by the call.
He had said that I was to recieve the money into my checking account in 48 hours, and that he needed my routing number and account number to have the funds directly deposited. He said the 29.95 was the processing fee, and that it wouldn't be taken out of my account until the deposit of the grant was made.
I became concerned when he turned an automated recording on to record my information. I noticed the recording never mentioned the grant money that was to be deposited. After the call I knew i had been dooped.
I called the customer service number to say I didn't want any funds to be taken out of my account, and the woman said there was nothing she could do because the recording didnt say anything about a deposit.
I can't believe I fell for it. I am overcome with the anticipation to complete my adoption I did't use my head. Hopefully I will find a ligit grant company to help me with my needs.
Do not let these people scam you!!!
