I was contacted in June of last year about an outstanding debt I had with BankOne. I agreed to pay in two installments over the course of the next three months. Those were paid in full. I am now receiving notice from another debt collection agency to pay my debt which I had thought was paid. An online search lead me to this website. It seems this "law office" is part of a scam. I will be filing suit in order to get my money back. They were a part of the Lenahan scam.
We were attempting to pay off our debts and can not afford this set back. I will find out who sold/gave them our debt information and take appropriate action. If anyone knows what steps to take or has already dealt with a similar situation I would greatly appreciate the info.
