I really hope that everyone is reading this. I jsut want to let you know that people that work for Cingular are getting it worse than the customers. Especially agents (the people that are in contract with Cinglar). Let's talk about Cingular first. The actual Cingular. Do you know that there is not suppose to be another Cingular within One (1) mile of my store? You probably didn't. Anyways there is. I'd say about 10 other stores within one mile people. A corporate as well.
This is the main reason why we, as in the agent stores, don't meet the qoutas, or make enough sales. And that's also the reason why I'm soon going to be fired. Did you know that also that when Cingular puts out an advertisment, it's suppose to also have our store location in it? Nope, it sure doesn't, and because of that everyone goes to the corporate store. Cingular owned people. Yes, they can make a very good deal, but that means that we lose customers, money, and stores all around.
Something else that you guys might like to know. Cingular has the worst customer care around. Even to us employees. Yes, I know, there are some that are nice, but what are the chances of you running into one. Out of the 7 months I've been working here and the thousands of phone calls I had made to them, I only ran into 5. Keep that in mind.
Customer care and cingular corporate my say that they can't do anything for you. Trust me, they can. They have the power. They are cingular owned. They can change bills, give away free accessories, mark down a phone. They can do this. Don't let them push you.
Remember, the customer comes first. Agents can't do this though, I really wish we can, but we can't. Cingular won't let us do that. You can't even pay a bill in an agent store, and there are thousands of them and only very few corporate. Now I'm getting to the billing part.in so. Cal. There are only I'd say about 7 or 8 corporate stores, and thousands of agent stores, and you can't pay a bill at an agent store. Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and other cell phone places, you can pay your bill wherever they have a store.
Surprising. Now lets go in to Cingulars pay. I only get payed 7 dollars an hour and commsion, IF I get the commision. That's with my company. Cingular corporate, same thing, but they get the commision. If you go to Verizon or Sprint or T-Mobile they get more. Thier sales associates get payed same thing as my manager. That is crazy. Thats because they have fewer stores but more business and better customer care. I'm not trying to keep you from coming to Cingular. I'm just telling you what's bad about them, but like I say nobody is perfect and everyone has their pros and cons. Well then, thank you for you time.
