I posted my resume on www.monster.com in hope of finding a new job opportunity. My resume specifically mentioned I am looking for only for a position in Information Technology field.
The very next day I was contacted by Primerica representative who told me there are great job opportunities within his company and I had qualities that they were looking for. I kept on asking what kind of job opportunities Primerica provides, but the person responded by saying all kinds and pushed for setting up an interview with me.
I have specifically asked if there is a job opportunity within my field and the person said yes! He arranged an interview at 7 am and told me to bring a copy of my resume.
At the day of the interview I showed up on time, only to be invited to a large room full of people. The meeting started by a video and then presentation from people who claimed to lot a ton of money thanks to the company. At this point everything sounded like too good to be true. Everything was similar to an MWAY presentation I was invited by a friend some few years ago. It also appeared the business model was similar to MWAY. Soon after I realized what is going on I left the room as soon as possible.
In next coming months I was avalanched by telephone calls and emails from Primerica representatives. Although I requested not to receive any further calls or emails, but nothing worked! I have received over 2500 messages from Primerica; sometimes from the same people.
These people are scumbags that prey on job seekers. They looked up contact information to anyone with a fresh resume. Since I refreshed my resume everyday I was automatically contacted. They didn't even look at the resume. They simply grabbed any contact information.
I have logged a complaint with www.monster.com only to find out I am one of thousands of people who reported the same thing against the same company.
