83year old Father-in-law received letter from Spain from Euro Sweepstake Lottery Company. Being of Spanish decent he beleived he was now worth a fortune.
I don't beleive you get anything for nothing, so as he hadn't been to Spain for years and had not purchased any tickets, I suspected a scam. I was further suspicious that although the letter was from Spain (Malaga), addressed to a Spaniard, it was written in English!
Internet searches led me to usacomplaints.com. Although the handling agents are different it is obviously the same as reported in North America/Canada.
The claims agent is given as Mr Louis Cama of Firma Morgan Security Company, also in Madrid.
We have not parted with any money but wish to spread the word that these people may now be targeting the UK
