My mom and I went into Vyda's Nail Salon before Thanksgiving. During that time, there were only about 6-7 costumers but only 3 people are working; the owner, owner's wife (I believe her name is Mary), and the mother (probably in her 60). First, we waited for couple of minutes on the waiting area. The whole time my mom and I watched them do their jobs. When it was our turn to do our pedicure, I didn't see them clean the equipment or the whirlpool. They just directed us to the whirlpool chair while the water was still running. Not only that the chair that I was on, the massage was not working. They seem to be short on staffs. At first, the mother started massaging my feet then she jumped over to my mom, while I waited (at this time I was confused). Then, the owner continued the pedicure process by trimming my cuticles. While waiting for the wife finished off with polish, I found a huge hole on the legs rest that they covered with tape. The pedicure took about 10 to 15 minutes. While waiting to get the polish to dry, my mom noticed the names on the nail certificates weren't matching with their names.in curiosity my mom asked the owner's wife. She gave us a short answer "those belong to us" without even an explanation. She looked irritated and mumbled something in her language. The mother just looked at us and nodded. They are unprofessional and I don't even know if they are qualified as nail technicians. I was very disgusted by their actions.
This is my first complain toward a business. I never want to do this, but I had such a horrible experience and I feel like I need to file a complaint.
