Suntrust bank holds $27,499 of our deposit from a downpayment with Taylor Morrison-formerly Taylor Woodrow builders for purchase of a condo in Central Florida Palma Sola Trace development.
We had a pre-qualification done over the telephone by saying that we were qualified to buy the condo - since realizing it was totally unprofessional and must have been done by some clerk, a year and a half later, we were presented with a application for a loan that was done by the builders loan company (Wells Fargo) - whereby, Wells tripled husbands income - THIS IS CALLED A LIAR LOAN TODAY. We immediately recognized this as dishonest practice and decided not to go through with the purchase in any shape or form. Suntrust to this day holds our money and is not willing to return it. We consider both companies to be very dishonest, unless they immediately return our deposit with interest.
