I went to amazon.com and was redirected to this a site that claimed I was eligible for a free gift. I look at the list of options and choose Bellavani Anti-Aging Serum. There was a charge of 4.95 for shipping. Everything about the offer stated that the product was free and my only obligation was the 4.95. When I called to asked why I was charged the 98 dollars, I was informed the terms of the offer included an ongoing obligation of 98.00 per month. I was free to returned the product (unopened and un used) for a full refund. The return is at my expense and I have call back with a tracking number once the package was sent and expect a reversal of charges within 10 to 14 days. OR I could settle the whole thing for 58.00 and keep the product.
This is not the first time something like this has happen to me in online ordering. I assume if I comply I will get my money back and just be out the original 4.95 and the cost to ship the product back. But why should I have to be out the cost of return shipping, not to mention the time, effort and frustration. Something needs to be done about the scammers!
