Gus (Tinta Negra, Inc) and his assistant David (The Smart Drop Inc) sublet a stuy town apartment from me beginning in the Summer of 2012. At first they appeared to be normal tenants, but quickly receiving payments from them turned into a nightmare. They were consistantly one month late on rent, and would often make me shadily pick up ate checks from random store owners in the area. Two months prior to the move out date, David and Gus ceased communication and rent payment, as well as the verizon fios bill they were required to pay. They provided us with phone numbers that were never answered, and to this day, they are impossible to reach. All in all, they owe me 2 months of rent, the late verizon fios bills, as well as a $2000 fee Stuy town hit me with when they illegally erected a wall in the apartment without contacting anyone. Keep in mind that I am a college student. These people have no remorse and are true scam artists. Never deal with them, or you will get burned. Just really horrible people.
