Payday Loans America
Consumer Report

My husband and I are stuck in a rut due to unexpected expenses for our home. I applied for a cash advance so we could get caught back up on our bills since we both won't get paid until next week. I received a call from a restricted number. When I answered I was told I was I was approved for a loan through their company. The minimum to borrow was $2,000 and the maximum is $7,000. I was then given the number 747-200-9702 to call to finish my application. I called and spoke with Jake. He had a really thick accent and seemed decent. We decided on the loan amount I wanted to borrow, discussed monthly payments. I was told the loan was coming from Jefferson Missouri Bank.in order to finalize my loan I was to place a security deposit of $185.00. I was told to go to my closest CVS or WalGreens to purchase a Green Dot Moneypack card and load it was $185.00 and give them the 7 digit code they provided me and call them back. After 30 minutes I would then have the loan amount I requested along with the $185.00 back. I informed Jake that I was not comfortable with buying the Green Dot card and loading it. I would rather do it through my back so I would have a record of everything. Jake then started yelling at me on the phone, told me I was an idiot and that he was appalled that I didn't trust him. He said if he is as untrustworthy as I feel then he would hang up and use all of my personal information for his benefit and I would never know. Needless to say I got off the phone in complete shock. They are terrible people. Plain and simple.
