I used Priceline to book an airfare and hotel (eight months in advance!). Upon checking in to Rose Hall Resort Montego Bay on 12/23/09, I was informed that I was charged $255 per room per night by Priceline. The same rooms for the same time period would have cost $172per room per night by booking directly with the hotel. Five attempts to contact Priceline about the 1164.14 that I was overcharged by booking with Priceline were ignored. Their supposed "best price guarantee" is only good for 24 hours after booking, what a joke! Spread the word-save yourself frustration and thousands of dollars by not using priceline
