I purchased Outlook in Sept and it did work, although the process for activation ended up appearing a little shady. The big issue was that my credit card was then used for a fraud purchase. I have never had a CC compromised ever and stopped using the Amex card I used for the outlook purchase back in Dec. Then on 4/29 a $327.13 purchase was made to TigerDirect with that very same CC #. Be very careful as you could lose more than just the software purchase.
