Deceptive business practices

I purchased Microsoft Office Outlook. Currently running Office Startup 2010. Office Startup 2010 had a link to purchase Outlook. Followed link, purchase software, spent the next 5 hours on the phone talking to multiple tech reps, supervisors and others whom I could not understand%u2026.. Only to find out that if I purchased Office 2013 professional%u2026everything would work. So the $100 investment need now cost $300. What a SCAM! It seems that the only way to resolve the issue was %u2026yup%u2026you guessed it%u2026. PAY MORE MONEY.

New slogan: Quick to swindle%u2026slow to rectify.

There were no disclaimers about incompatible software. The link to purchase was on the Office Startup Excel 2010 page. I have to believe that this company has been sanctioned for DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES.

After spending 5 hours on the phone, only to be told that I needed to be transferred to the next level tech%u2026. But that the next level tech was so busy that I would have to schedule an appointment.in the meantime, during the previous 5 hours%u2026.. I gave Microsoft complete access to my computer. Beware. The tech wasn%u2019t just installing & uninstalling (I counted 6 times)%u2026but going into my registry & DELETING.

Getting to my last straw I inquired from 2 different reps & a supervisor how to reach customer service for complaints. I was told by all three that there was not customer service department that they could provide an address to. Are you kidding me?
