First of all, DMV.Us.org is not a government entity. The website said it would provide an instant report of DMV records. First I had to provide my personal information and credit card info. A very confusing page shows up and if you "accept" to get your report you will be charged $120. You actually need to "decline" to get your report. I was then told to download a form and mail it to the State DMV if I had any problem and that DMV.Us.org would reimburse me for any cost over my $1.00 charge. Then another page asked me what info I wanted in my report, and charged me an additional 20 cents for each item. Then another page must be downloaded, completed, and faxed to DMV.Us.org as an authorization to allow them to search for my DMV records. I do not have a fax nor access to one, and besides, they said the report was going to be "instant". At this point I stopped in this long process and determined to file complaints like this. I may not even contest the money although it galls me to let them keep it but I'd rather not get into a fight over it.
