Online Public Yellow Pages called my business selling Internet advertising. It was refused. Many subsequent calls followed, each ended in a refusal.
A fraudulent recording was made of an employee of the company with no purchasing authority, saying 'yes' or 'no' in answer to fabricated conversation. The recording was played to me when I received the first demand for money.
I told them that the recording was not of anyone with authority to purchase. Harassing calls began.
I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, who was already aware of the scam. I heard nothing of the incident again until a letter arrived 7/8 dated 6/28 from MA Recovery, supposedly the collection agency for Online Public Yellow pages.
I have once again contacted the Federal Trade Commission to update the previous complaint. I am now waiting for a copy of the complaint to arrive by mail.
