This man is conning people through a work at home data entry clerk position. He claimed to work for Adecco Group. I was contacted viz text message and he asked me to set up Yahoo IM to conduct an interview. With all the new technology and after I checked the company website, I thought he was legit. Well, turns out he sends you fraudulent checks and wants you to deposit them into your bank account for the "software materials" you will need to work from home. After that he wants you to send the money by western union to a "third-party vendor" who only accepts cash. Luckily I caught on to this but after I deposited a fraudulent check into my account. I'm so glad I did not withdraw the money and I am going to the bank with all my info to give to the fraud department. I caught him bc he put a stop payment on the check and wanted me to open up a bank account through USAA and give him your bank info to deposit the funds into your account directly. I contacted Adecco Group to inform them of this and a compliance manager told me that this is definitely a scam. Now, I have to pay a fee to the bank for sending the check back and basically prove my innocence in this scheme so I will not have this put on my credit report or have my account frozen! Please do not respond to him. He is taking advantage of people who are in desperate need of employment! I will never do this again without doing more research!!
