Tylar Property Management has, as one of its units, 453 W. Maroa, Fresno, California and all addresses related to those apartments. Currently it has a sign posted "Move In Special". That special is a reduction in the first month's rent by 50%. I represent the interests of a limited English speaking (not Spanish) lady who elected to rent a unit in this complex. Upon the acceptance of her application I immediately drove her to the office to pay the required deposit. Tylar Management cashed her check. Over the next 6 weeks the rental contract sat in their office waiting to be amended.in that time frame Tylar Management continued to show the unit. When the owner of the company got involved, the problem was resolved and the contract signed. However, he decided to penalize this new tenant by charging her for the time his company had the contract and not honoring the advertised move in special. A letter has already been sent to his attention to request a reconsideration of his decision since the contract had been in their possession this whole time. That was 3 weeks ago. To date we've not had a reply nor do I think one will be coming. There had been some confusion as to what had happened and the management owner ask that future requests go through him. This appears to be a fruitless effort.
