I originally contacted MYTECHHELP.com on April 20 for help with network issues after purchasing a Microsoft Surface Tablet. I fell for their online advertisement indicating they were "Authorized Microsoft Support" for Surface Tablets (thanks Google). After registering via telephone call, I was advised charges would only consist of a one-time fee of $69.99. The associate continually resisted helping me until I paid. At time of purchase, I was told I would only be charged a one-time fee of $69.99. Afterwards, my card was charged twice for $19.99 on May 19th and June 20th. I was particularly disappointed with their service because their associates only advised basic system reset and troubleshooting, which I had already done. I finally solved my issues by working with my company IT guy. He was able to determine my issue was service provider blocking proxies/ports at my location due to network issues. Once cleared up I had no further issues. I received more assistance from my company's IT guy than MYTECHHELP gave. I agreed to pay the original charge but the two following charges really upset me, as they were NOT dislosed. After contacting MYTECHHELP I requested a refund for the two additional charges, which they say will occur, but only time will tell. We'll see if that actually happens. My main complaint is total lack of disclosure on additional "charges". I will definitely tell everyone I know not to trust this company.
