I completed an online survey and was given five or six choices of the thank-you gift I wanted to receive. I chose the AuraVie skincare products for the cost of shipping and handling and so I used my credit card to pay the $2.95. I received email confirmation of the order and another notice when the product shipped. I received the product a day or two after that. On June 18, I noticed a pending charge on my credit card for $97.88 and called the merchant number shown. It was AuraVie. I never ordered products from this company nor did I authorize them to charge my credit card but for the one charge... $2.95 for shipping and handling. When I called to dispute the charge, the lady on the phone said that I ordered the products on June 1st and asked me if I read the information on the website. I told her that I did and that I saw no such statement committing to an additional order of this product. I told her that I had no contract with them and that my only relationship with them was through the vendor for whom I was completing the online survey. AuraVie is engaging in deceptive practices on the internet and needs to be shut down.
