I think this company is borderline scam. I was told that I had won 2nd place after completing a survey which meant that I received a big discount on a Bahamas cruise trip that also included side trips to Ft Lauderdale and Orlando, Florida. I was told that I needed to pay the trip in order to have free upgrades, since I had mentioned to the rep that it sounded like a great 10 year wedding anniversary trip. I had been trying to arrange an anniversary trip so this seemed to come at great timing. Unfortunately, I never received and paperwork about the trip except one letter that told me to look at a website they designed for me and that would tell me more about my trip. It was the most uninformative site ever. I could see an itinerary with just general info on it but when I called to get more info, they were very vague and I was hung up on a few times. I started to do some research into the trip and I could not find any positive reviews and found that anytime I would call to get info, it seemed like they kept making more offers to get more money from me. I purchased travel insurance so that I could have a cushion of protection but it has proven to be no help. I spoke to a manager this afternoon and was flat out disrespected and told that I will not get my money back and that I have to just view this purchase this purchase like non-refundable airline tickets, since I am not getting any kind of refund. I was insulted by her nasty tone of voice and attitude. I had the trip dates for the end of the year, so to ask for a full refund or cancellation is being requested early enough for them to honor my refund request. I am upset that I was treated so badly and it makes me not even want to deal with this company ever again. The manager said that I would just have to accept that the only option I have been to have the trip offer extended another 18 months after Dec. That is not acceptable to me and she felt that it resolved the issue and that our conversation was done unless I had other questions at that moment. I felt distraught and cornered, since I have never expected her to be so nasty and uncaring. Please help me get my refund and the news out that this company is no good and pretty much a scam.
