Complaint / review text:
I was a phone and internet ($19.95 amonth for 5 years deal) and pushed to bundle Directv with very exit effort from the bundle. I severed my relationship with CenturyLink. I cancelled their services around 4/10/2013. I paid my last bill of of $81.31 the due date of which was 4/12/2013 (I am not sure if it were paid on the due date. At last I paid $17.23 on 5/18/2013 which they claimed to be pevious or unpaid balance. That should do it. But it did not. They came up with a new bill of TV & Internet of $167.10. The price for TV jacked up by 50% and the price for Internet by 30%. This is how, and seems to be the trend, they extort money and need be distroy your credit worthyness and there by instill the fear of CenturyLink and the likes of it for years to come with immunity. I hope this complaint of mine turn the tide against them. I implore the office of the Attorney General to throw the book at them so that the full might of the Law bear down on them. The TV was cancelled and the new Internet was never discused with anybody. I was made to cancell the Internet I did not request nor endorse. I stand by the coviction of my complaint. I stand to be corrected if my proficiency of the steer me away from what tried to express. My number is (Personal Information Removed). I hope to hear from you.
