The website made promises. I filled out the form, then went to do something else while I thought about it. I clicked out of another site, and the sales site used that click as an approval to charge my card.
I got a receipt by email. I immediately cancelled the order by replying to the 'receipt' email, and told them not to charge my card.
I did not hear back. My card was charged. I tried the email address for 'customer service' and found it was bogus. I called the phone number and it was immediately clear that I was talking to someone who was trained to do nothing.
I asked for the address of the company, and it's phone number and email address, but this information was not given. Is the FBI internet fraud squad on this one yet?
