Like many of you, I was browsing the Internet and this add actually appeared in an area where I was not watching. I opened the link and unfortunately, I listened to the sales pitch and got sucked in. I paid the initial amount of $49.95 and gave them my credit card information. When I tried to cancel my order after reading these scam reports, HomeCashAccess reduced my one-time fee of $49.95 to $29.95. I never confirmed my credit card payment, nor did I get an email confirmation saying that my credidt card would be charged. I assumed that it was cancelled. I immediately called 1-888-840-6154 and received a customer service rep. I asked him to see if HomeCashAccess processed my purchase and asked me for my email confirmation number. When I told him that I did not have one, he asked me for my email address. He confirmed that my credit card was charged twice. The first charge was for $49.95 and the second charge was for $29.95. I asked the rep to cancel this order and give me confirmation numbers that my credit card will not be charged. I was successful in getting this cancelled and I have the (2) cancellation numbers recorded. I hope this helps someone else reading this post.
