Took my Girl out for dinner and a movie at the mall about 2 months ago Ran into FYE to check out what they had found a couple small items that were on clearance took it to the cashier and we were told in these exact words " would you like to sign up for our VIP membership it's FREE you will get 2 dollars off your total bill right now, and you also get 2 FREE magazine subscriptions" so we said sure. Now here we are 2 months later, I have been billed for one of the magazine subscriptions which i cancelled and they gladly refunded the money they charged. Today I found a charge for 11.99 for the VIP card, I called they tried to get me to keep it, i said no i want it cancelled and I want the 11.99 refunded because I was told it was FREE. I was informed that they will not refund my account. After researching online I have found the FYE has caused over 44,000 dollars of damages with this scam. It is a scam. Maybe you should inform your employees to let the customer know that it is indeed not free that after so many days you will be charged. I am extremely unhappy with their practices and I will never give FYE my business again, and I will let EVERYONE know what kind of shady business you Run.
