On Thrusday, May 23 I was scheduled to fly from Baltimore International Airport to Fort Laudardal International
AIrport @ 735 pm, Fly 49. I arrived to the airport at least 3 hours before departure time. I immediately proceed to check in. Agent 97853 was assisting me with the process. She asked me for my check in luggage (pen back) ands she charge me $25.00 as indicated. When she provided me the boarding pass I noted the document was initiated under another Latin name and not mine. The agent immediately attempted to fix the mistake but unable to do so. I noted she called another male airline staff for assistance (? Supervisor). He finally assist her to correct the mistake and I have my apprpropiate boarding pass. It took a while for them to correct this mistake.
When I arrived to FL airport I noted my luggage did not come in my plane, so told it was lost. Allso the agent at FL airport informed that it was another fly was scheduled to coming at 1230 am and that perhaps my luggage was in that last fly. I was tired and decided to leave the auirport to my destinatio. The agent told me about calling about 1:00 am if they found my luggage but she never did. I have diabetes and my medicines and glucose meter machine was in my luggage. Since they were lost I was not able to check my sugar and to get any medication the entire night and in am the next day.
The next day Friday, May 24 early in am I called the airline baggage service and informed they found my luggage and that they plan to return it with a window of 5 hours. I did not have to wait 5 hours since I explained the lady about my diabetes and medication regimen. On my bank stament I noted that agent at BWI as well heer supervisor charged me twice for luggage $ 25.00 each. This was a bad experience that I have with this airline when as a passenger I fully comply with requirements to be on time and follow up procedures. I would like to be refund for my additional charges an is possible to have an airlline credit for my next trip
