I was contacted by this company saying they had a program under the Obama administration to help individuals lower their monthly mortgage through a loan modification. They told me they could help me better than NACA and that they could lower my mortgage down to $1400 per month. I paid them three payments (2 electronically and 1 money order send UPS). I received e-mail updates for almost a year and I expressed time after time how nervous I was thinking I would loose my home. Well when I got the Intent to Forclose Letter and contacted this company, I got no response as their number was disconnected and unanswered e-mail. After checking their website, I learned they had a temporary court order injunction and was closed down. I am now seekng the assitance from The Attorney General Office in NY who has now forwarded my complaint to the Grievance Committee in NY. I have also filed an application for reimbursement through The Lawyer's Fund for Client Protection of the State of New York. It is so hurtful to feel scammed. I feel violated and victimized. There are some crule people in this world.
