When I started my service with Verizon a decade ago, I had to pay for my service a month in advance. I cancelled my service in February. I paid the bill 1 day before I cancelled my service, because I did not want any problems. I should have received that full payment returned. But I received $15.00 and was told, the payment I made was for the PREVIOUS month! They admit that service is paid for a month ahead, but cannot get anyone to see that they are keeping peoples money.
