After making an on line loan enquiry I was contacted by the company when I found out they were a broker wanting to charge a fee I said I didn't want to go any further. I then received a text from 07537 404574 saying YOUR LOAN HAS BEEN ACCEPTED please call 01422 449001 to arrange a payout before the weekend. I called the number and it was AK Management. This was a clear attempt to mislead me they are NOT a lender so can't say that a loan has been accepted. I'll report the incident to the OFT who issue consumer credit licenses to lenders and brokers. At the end of the day your credit history is what it is. If a lender is prepared to accept you they will. If a broker is involved they will get a commission from the lender. There's NO legitimate reason to be paying up front fees.
