D a Kirby dealer show up at my door, and after 6 hours of demotrations and negotiating prices, i dcecided to purchase a kirby.
After they left, the finance company they use called me to go over the details, and found out that they lied to me on overall price, apr, and interest id be paying.
I decided to call and cancel the purchase, (contract stated i had 72 hours to do so) so i did early the following morning.
I was told no problem, they wouldnt cash the check i gave them, theyd return it to me when the item was picked up. 5 days later they cashed the check. I called midwest elite and they told me by law they had 10 days to return the money, and when they picked up the product they would leave me a reciept stating the check is soon to follow, we agreed on a pickup time, but no receipt or check.
3 days later i called again and they told me the check was in the mail. 3 days after that i called and they told me they sent a check to the wrong person. 3 days later i called back and they told me the person who handles their fnances was in a meeting and would call me back. The following day i called again and they assured me the check was in the mail as of that day.
5 days went by and still i havent received anything. They are well past due on their 10 day return policy, and ive not only got the run around from them, but also recieved ate fees and over the limit drafts due to the check being cashed, and not returned.
