I have published with Xlibris one book. I had person who worked with me the whole time and even though I had problems with them while in the publishing process I thought it will be over soon. When my book was published the names of people on my contact list changed and I had no one to contact when Xlibris made mstakes, I was told that I don't need anyone once the book is out and they gave me ph nr where people just took the message and no one called back. My royalty statement hardly ever was the same as my royalty checks indicated and I had to wait 1 year for my money to be returned to me after they requested tons of proof, tax forms, etc. Paperwork they lost while they moved few years ago, they requested from me. They billed me extra because they lost my W-1099. I have to keep all communication on paper via certified mail. The online royalty statement is never up to date. It seems they (Xlibris) has no control of anything or has no proof how many of your books are sold in real time. With today's tecnology (like amazon.com for example) everything should be updated fast and accurate. Not manually, as I am told they are busy or now they update 1-2 times a year... I was told every 3 months the sales are updated when I started the publishing process. Once I published I was not able to have any issues resolved fast.
