ADT has been billing me for four months, although I've never had a contract with them. My contract was with Broadview, and was cancelled while still with Broadview. I've repeatedly informed ADT of their mistake. They assert they have no record of the Broadview cancellation, and my position is: who cares what records they claim not to have? I cancelled a contract with Broadview, and never had a contract with ADT, and refuse to pay ADT. ADT are now threatening to refer the matter to a collection agency. I'll take the matter to court if need be, but that shouldn't be necessary. They should have done the right thing when they received my first communication.
