1. We signed up for Broadview's Internet & Telephoneservice through a local sales rep who blatantly lied to us about what we wouldreceived at an agreed upon cost. When westarted our service, our costs were significantly higher than what this salesrep quoted.
2. We had extremely poor service over our 3 yearcontract. At one point in 2009 we werewithout phone and internet service for almost 1 week. Broadview's technicial support departmentrefused to take responsibility until finally our IT techician himself diagnosedBroadview's faulty equipment. Theyreplaced their equipment and we got our service back. 3. WORSE OF ALL, we DID NOT want to continue with Broadviewafter our contract ended. Come to findout that they have SMALL PRINT in our original contract that says they willrenew our contract if they don't receive written notice from us at least 30days in advance, AND THEY DID THIS WITHOUT ANY NOTICE TO US!!! When I contacted customer service, they toldme we would have a $4,000 CANCELLATION FEE if we canceled service, and thatthey did not have to notify us about the contract extension because it wasspecified in the fine print in their 2007 contract!!!
