After ten months of unemployment, I attempted to cancel my Broadview account. However, the initial contract required when setting up service with Brinks is three years. Since I was only 2 years and two months into my contract, I was advised that I would be required to pay the balance due. I explained that I could not afford to pay any longer but was advised by the representative that she was doing her job by letting me know that I was under contract and would need to pay for the full contract price.
