I was so excited to be contacted for an interview for a part time Administrative Assistant in the offices at Macy's at the Crossgate Mall. I was contacted on February 26th by email and directed to a scheduling site. I scheduled myself for the first available timeslot which was the next day (2/27). That evening I was called to say that they overbooked the interviews and asked if I could come in today (2/28). I took time off from my current job which was temporary. When I arrived, I was told that the job had been filled. How is this possible. Don't they interview everyone first? Also there where dates available next week to interview. I need someone to explain this to me.
