The following message came on my Skype that I was being compensated for 450,000 pounds due to recently being scammed on Skype. They wanted my address/email address to send me information. I was not aware of being scammed on Skype so I asked a few questions and wanted evidence on this which they could not provide. Here is the message I received on skype:
"This is to inform you that you have been selected among the 10 lucky people to be compensated this month, and you are been compensated with the sum of 450,000.00 GBP (FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND POUNDS).
The reason you are been compensated is as a result of the scam you encountered on skype, we are aware that several people have taken it as a responsibility to steal from others and we the SKYPE LOTTERY BOARD are currently working on a way to ensure this is wiped out, the Skype Compensation Promo is been supported by the United Nation, your contact was made available to us by the FBI and your contact was one of the 10 contact provided to us by some Fraudsters who were arrested by the FBI SPECIAL INVESTIGATION UNIT and by the information given to us, you were scammed some huge sum and for this reason, the SKYPE BOARD in Collaboration with United Nation decided to compensate victims who have suffered from scam activities to enable them rebuild their life again, and we are glad to inform you that these fraudsters will certainly be sentence according to the Law, but the SKYPE BOARD are currently working on a means to ensure this criminal act is fully stopped and the Skype Network is free from scams.
