My Macbook was stolen in September.in January I made a phone call to Apple and realized that my Macbook was in the possession of someone else, and that Apple has their name and contact information. I filed a police report, and the police have sent Apple a subpoena and contacted them several times. Apple has yet to respond to the subpoena and it's been two months!
I would like Apple to respond to the subpoena and turn over whatever information they have about the person who has my computer.
If they don't the computer could be passed on to someone else and be forever lost. A potential computer theft ring could continue to operate. I want Apple to do the right and ethical thing.
